This seven acre carp fishing holidays lake in France can be described as scenic venue in tranquil surroundings that is full of carp to over 46 lb, it's an ideal venue for fishing holidays. The lake is heavily stocked with carp of all sizes, including several 40s, it's a venue where multiple catches are frequent and anglers landing 100s during a week long session in France. In May 2008 a group of 3 anglers managed to land 260 carp, and even then they could have landed more had they not reeled in their rods for a well earned rest. In addition we have added a good head of catfish; when hooked they will get the heart racing through long powerful fights!
Both packages include use of the onsite facilities - shower & toilet etc.
We think there are too many fish in our lake therefore have implemented a policy to ensure we maintain the right balance between 'a runs water' where you are virtually guaranteed to catch, yet presenting the opportunity of a fish of a lifetime i.e. carp or catfish over 40 lb! As a result of our ongoing policy we are removing all fish below 18 lb, if you catch one below this weight it will moved to our holding lake.
Please bare in mind this lake has never been open to the public until now, the fish are naive and easy to catch. The photos this year will give you an insight of what is to come. Our friends have managed some awesome catches including 260 carp to 3 anglers during a weeks fishing!
Many French venues have poor facilities; read the forums and you will notice a number of comments about commercial lakes having less than perfect amenities. We can gladly say that ours are clean and tidy and of a high standard. For example the shower and toilet is modern and only recently fitted.
In addition to this refurbishment we have all that is required to make your visit to our French lake a memorable experience.
A range of bait is available to purchase onsite, including boilies and particles.
Should you need to re-charge your batteries then take advantage of the English and French wall sockets located in the utility room.

What is the cost of French fuel?
As at April 2009 unleaded known as (sans plomb) will cost around £1.00 per liter and diesel (gazole) not much higher. Prices vary considerably, if filling at a motorway station you may find you will pay a lot more than from supermarket filling stations.
What happens if I have an accident whilst on my fishing holiday?
Insurance cover is recommended whilst traveling on any fishing holiday, especially when on an adventure holiday. However their is an option which gives some cover, not dissimilar to the national health service. It is through use of an E1/11 card which is free of charge. The form can be purchased from any uk post office.
What is the speed limit on French roads?
Under normal driving conditions the speed limit on Motorways is 130kph, speed limit in built up areas is 50kph 7 the limit on major roads being 110kph. When conditions are wet the limits are lowered.
What is the price of tolls?
Tolls are charged on many motorways in France, to give you a rough idea of cost I paid approximately 9 euro per 100 miles traveled during my most recent visit to a carp lake in France, to get to etang Tissier will cost approximately 20 euro.
Anything else I need to know before setting of to this lake?
It is advisable to carry spare bulbs, first aid kit and warning triangle when traveling in Europe. In addition don't forget to apply Euro transfers to your headlights to prevent dazzle to other drivers. Most of all concentrate as you will be driving on the opposite side of the road to the UK.
How much bait will I need for my holidays?
That is the million dollar question? Some of the best carp hits have come to heavy baiting, however if the weather condition are not in your favor then a light baiting approach may catch you just as many carp. We do advise use of high quality baits such as Mainline or Nutrabaits as the do seem to keep them on the feed. Bait is available onsite if you do run out.
