carp fishing marker-float is normally a large, visible and very buoyant float, which has a single eye and/or swivel attached to the bottom. They can be purchased from most tackle shops, are mainly coloured orange or black and come in different sizes to take different size carp leads. Personally I use a fishing marker-float that can be easily cocked by a 3oz lead.

Fishing for carp

Within this feature we are interviewing a carp fishing angler that has fished many European and UK waters for big carp. His angling career started over 30 years ago and had his first article published in Carp World in the mid 90's.

Although he still gets his carp rods out on a regular basis, he doesnt seem to put pen to paper for the angling magazines any longer.
