Cross bars to convert a goal post set up is not a new idea but still the best method of creating a pod without the additional weight or bulk of current rod pods. Our high quality stainless stabilizing ‘X’ bars are machined from the highest quality stainless steel and are lighter weight than any similar products.

In addition we have made them adjustable at both ends which allow extension out to an incredible 43 inches (ideal for continental big water type set ups for maximum stability). When collapsed the total length is only 24 inches, allowing easy transportation in a rod bag.

Weight per pair is 1300gm – please  bear in mind these extend out much longer than any similar stabilizer cross bars, therefore more stainless yet they are lighter due to the diameter of the walls within our chunky stainless.
