Unhooking mats

Carp care unhooking mats and weigh slings are a must for all fishing enthusiasts, gone are the days where a simple peice of sponge is acceptable. Nowadays if you are not seen with the right carp care system prepared ready next to your carp bivvy then lake owners can get a little annoyed and have a chat. The latest caveman unhooking mats & weigh slings and retainers were developed in conjunction with UK top anglers, who provided inspiration during development. Weighsling retainer

A weigh sling can also be a retainer for short periods of time, carp sacks are now a thing of the past as it is much better to retain fish for a minimal amount of time i.e. enough time for some photos to be take. The caveman carp mat is well padded both at the base and the walls ensuring maximum carp care.  The caveman Weigh Sling was designed to allow maximum flow of water out and ensure the carp was protected in all areas whilst lifting for the weigh. It is therefore fish freindly and ensures maximum water drainage. The material is a mix between carp care mesh and PVC.
